SECRECT TO PERFECTION

You go through the cycle of births and deaths (Punarabi Jananam and Punarabi Maranam) until you find the truth yourself. Everyone wants to go to his natural state of Happiness. For this, you have to set the right direction. One has to seek the truth. Think what might me beyond this world? It is difficult to project what is beyond. Only a Human being can project what might be beyond this terrestrial world. There has got to be something beyond this terrestrial word and there is no doubt about this. Think who is responsible for all this? This is unknown to an average human being. Only when you gain wisdom there is a transformation. You will be then free from mental agitation (unfulfilled desires in your mind). You are born with ‘Vasanas’ which are unmanifest desires. As you grow up, it starts expressing in the form of desires. If you decrease your desires you move to a state of Perfection which is a desireless state.

Consciousness is a pure knowledge, which is pure awareness. It is a knowing principle that enables you to be aware (conscious) of. It makes you aware of what you are aware of. That is pure knowledge, pure awareness, and pure consciousness. You are aware of something Viz., “Object”.

He who knows not and Knows not he knows not. Leave him.

He who knows not and knows he knows not. Avoid him.

He who knows and knows that he knows. He is wise. Follow him.

You have got to struggle and find out the truth by yourself only. It is by following the right path which will take you to the truth. You will have inner energy which will give you the ability to follow the path. Ultimately you will get to know the truth.

Knowledge will release you from your binding. If you don’t understand that there is something beyond this world, you will suffer from Samsara. You will be subjected to all sorts of fluctuations. If you develop knowledge, you will enjoy life with full of energy. You will be light hearted when you have a cool, calm and a positive attitude. In your own life, because of entanglement, you will not enjoy your life. Marriage is like a deck of Cards. In the beginning it is a Heart and deck of Diamond. Later it is a Spade. Develop this objective view of Knowledge. Ask yourself, what is my real dharma? Dharma makes things what it is without which it is not what it is. Dharma of Sugar is sweetness. Sweetener makes sugar what it is without which (sweetness) Sugar is not what it is. Ask questions like who am I? Why I have come into this world? What is the purpose of my Life? You have to address these questions and you will get to know the truth by yourself.

Be blissful.

Humility is the way to Succeed in true devotion to god

The Vedic scriptures greatly expound humility as the only way to succeed in true devotion to God.

The lives of great Indian Saints are the ultimate examples of this concept. 500 years ago, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu instructed us to be humbler than a blade of grass.

The Bible has more than twenty verses about humility while the Quran has more than a dozen.

If all the scriptures discuss humility, the questions that naturally arise are:

what exactly is humility? How can we identify it? Why is it important and how can we practice it?

Humility is being Calm, Cheerful and Confident at all times in our life.

Be like a Stitapragna treating the pair of opposites alike and accepting the experience as Bhagavan's prasada

Lead a simple Satvic life even when you go higher up in the ladder of your career or life

Be aware of what you are aware of.

There are many more explanations which you can get to know from the Scriptures.

NICE STORY AND A LESSON

A Brahmin (Priest), whose profession was singing the glories of the Lord, was reciting Srimad Bhagavatam in the house of a Big Landlord.

A thief broke into the house where the recital was going on and hid himself in the deep corner. Perforce, he had to listen to Srimad Bhagavatam (Beautiful stories & Miracles of Lord Krishna).

The singer was now describing the ornaments worn by little Krishna. He described the various ornaments Mother Yasodha decorated on little Krishna before sending Him out with the cows.

The thief was excited and thought that he should meet that lad and rob all the ornaments at one stroke instead of struggling every

day with petty stealing. He waited till the entire chapter of Srimad was recited and left the place.

The thief wanted to know where this boy was. He, therefore, followed the Brahmin and waylaid him. The Brahmin was frightened and feared that he would lose even the small amount he had received as dakshina and told the thief, “I do not have anything with me”.

The thief replied that he was not keen to have any of his possessions but wanted some information about that lad he claimed to have the best ornaments and who used to go out for grazing the cows. He beseeched him to take him to that place where the lad was grazing those cows.

The Brahmin was in a fix now. He said, “In the town of Brindavana, on the banks of Yamuna river, in a green meadow, two boys come every morning. One is dark like the clouds with a flute, and the other fair, clad in white silk. The dark one will have all the ornaments I had described.”

The thief believed the Brahmin and set out for Brindavana immediately. He located the beautiful place, climbed up a tree and waited for the boys to arrive.

The sun rose. Faint melody of the flute wafted along the morning breeze. The enchanting music could then be heard closer and the thief spotted two boys coming.

He got down from the tree and went near them. The moment he saw the most beautiful appearance of the little Krishna, he forgot himself, folded his hands and shed tears of joy. The tears were from his heart and it was chilling.

He wondered which wretched mother had sent these radiant boys, chiseled to perfection, loaded with ornaments to the riverbank.

He could not take his eyes off from the divinity.

The transformation started.

He approached the boys shouting, “Stop,” and held Krishna’s hand.

The moment he touched Lord Krishna, all his previous karmas were wiped out like a ball of cotton getting burnt in fire and with all humility he inquired lovingly, “Who are you?”

Krishna looked at him, innocently and said, "I am frightened by your looks. Please leave my hands”.

The thief, now full of remorse, said to Krishna, “It is my evil mind which is reflected in my face. If you are frightened, I shall go away. Please don't say, I must leave you".

The Natkhat (Divinely naughty) Krishna reminded the thief the purpose of his coming there and mocked him, "Here, take these ornaments”.

Confused, the thief replied, “Will not your mother scold you if you gift away all your ornaments to me?”

Krishna with a smile said, “Do not worry about that. I have plenty of them. I am a bigger thief than you.

But there is a difference between you and me – however much I steal, the owners do not complain. I am lovingly called “Chitta Chora”.

Though you are not aware of it, you have a previous ornament in your possession, the “Chitta (Heart)”. I shall steal it now and take the same with Me”. So saying both the boys vanished.

To his surprise, the thief found a bag full of ornaments on his shoulder.

He brought it to the Brahmin’s house and told him what had all happened.

The Brahmin was now frightened and took the thief inside and opened the bag.

To his utter amazement he saw all the ornaments described by him as being worn by Krishna in the Bhagavatam, in the thief’s bag.

Shedding tears of joy, the Brahmin asked the thief to take him to the place where he saw the dark boy. The thief obliged and both of them waited in the same place where the thief accosted the boy the previous day.

Suddenly the thief exclaimed, “Look, here they come!”

However, the Brahmin could not see any one.

Stricken with disappointment, he said, “Lord, when You decided to give darshan to a thief, why not me?

Lord Krishna, out of abundant compassion, replied,

“You are reading Srimad Bhagavatam just as another story, whereas the thief actually believed what you told him about me.

I manifest only for those who have full faith in me.

Be blissful.

BELIEF AND FAITH

If you ask most people, they will tell you that faith and belief is the same thing. They are interrelated which makes them very close in meaning. There is a thin line between belief and faith.

Belief –an opinion or judgment in which a person is fully persuaded, whereas faith includes our beliefs, but it is bigger than that.

Faith=Belief+ Action +Confidence. Faith requires action. If it does not move us to do something or say something it is not faith. Until we take action our faith is just bunch of words.

Belief is the product of the mind where is faith is the product of spirit. In belief there are questions, but in faith there is only acceptance.

Let me quote an incidence from Mahabharata.

When Draupadi was disrobed in the courtroom of Kauravas, she looked up to Pandavas and other brave warriors like Bhīma, Dhronacharaya, Kripacharya for her rescue but her wails went in vain, till she turned to Lord Krishna, There was a difference in her approach while she sought help. She had belief in Pandavas and other brave warriors present at the courtroom. But she also had doubts if they would rise to the occasion under the grim circumstances and hence she put up meek resistance by herself on the onslaught of Dushasan, by tightly holding a part of her part of the saree.

On the other hand, she had absolute faith in Lord Krishna, although he was not physically present at the courtroom, when the incident happened. As she had faith in Lord Krishna, she had no doubts about her safety and hence did not offer any resistance; rather she held hands high towards the sky and diverted all her energy in praying Lord Krishna. The result of her faith is well known.

Belief is the truth held in mind, faith is the fire in the heart.

Belief is passive, Faith is active.

Be blissful.

HOW TO DO BETTER AT ALMOST EVERYTHING

Concentrate on what is happening rather than on what you fear or hope will happen. Anxiety is fear about what may happen.

Don’t worry about winning

Worrying tightens muscles and tenses nerves, the most common causes of error. The less we worry about end results, the better they’re likely to be.

Don’t question your potential

Self – doubt is almost invariably Self – fulfilling. Concentrate on the present. A man with a mission has few Self – doubts. He thinks that a wider understanding of the inner game and its ramifications could help our whole society. Whether that’s true or not, the evidence is strong that playing a good inner game can at least improve the performance of any individual involved in a specific task. If, that is, we just don’t try too hard.

Don’t you think so that the above information is right?

If you agree, just keep going.

Be blissful.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIP

Building relationship is a vital thing for every individual. Building a good and a long lasting relationship is more important. Every relationship is not to make me happy but to make me spiritually conscious. Family life can be called a spiritual relationship. The best critic of your life is your spouse.

What hurts us in a relationship? It is the insult that hurts us. Our Ego is hurt when we identify ourselves with our ego. It reacts. Our attitude becomes ‘Tit for tat’. Our Ego misguides to hurt the person whom you loved most. When ego is hurt, we are in a sleeping world (dream world). The actions we perform are unintelligent. You have to wake up from the Ego and become aware of surroundings. Slowly come out from the grip of the ego. Then the grip is weakened.

We go to the next stage called surrender. Accepting the situation as it is, will be our response. We have to respond instead of reacting to situations. There are two planes. One is ego plane and the other is without ego plane.  Conflicts and problems will always be there between individuals. We have to remove Ahamkara i.e. “I” from our mind. We have to do this consciously and be aware of this. We should be aware that our anger does not rise and thereby act accordingly. We should accept the situation as it is, since it is beyond our control. Since we are aware of the situation, we realize that Ego is the problem. Wife or husband is not the problem.

Another point to be noted is the argument between husband and wife. We have to wait for an opportunity to return back to normal. We have to come out of the grip of the ego. The time taken to return back to normalcy has to be gradually reduced. Check the time taken to come to normal behavior after the argument, ego episode. Be spiritually conscious all the time.

Desire leads to anger which in turn leads to violence. If we want to remain peaceful and calm, while in anger, we should not hold any conversation. There is a tug of war between mind and intellect when we are angry. Hence we should be alert during anger.

Since mind is the cause of all problems, we have to make our mind anger-proof by reducing FIR which means,

Frequency of anger can be reduced

Intensity of anger can be reduced

Recovery period (to come to normal) can be reduced.

Happiness lies in one’s state of mind. There is no other way to get happiness. We can measure happiness by the following equation:

Happiness = Number of desires fulfilled

                                  ------------------------------------

                                 Number of desires you have.

Let us try to build a long lasting relationship with whom so ever we come into contact with, which will bring happiness all the time and also enjoy our life to the fullest. After all Life is for living and we should try to live a healthy and a happier life.

Be blissful.

GOOD MESSAGE

Someone graduated at the age of 22, but waited 5 years before securing a good job.

Someone became a CEO at 25, and died at 50.

While another became a CEO at 50, and lived to 90 years.

Someone is still single, while someone from his school group has become a grandfather.

Obama retired at 55 & Trump started at 70.

Everyone in this world works based on their time zone.

People around you might seem ahead of you & some might seem to be behind you.

But everyone is running their own race, in their own time.

Do not envy them.

They are in their time zone, and you are in yours.

So, relax.

You're not late.

You're not early.

You are very much on time.

Everything is happening to us according to the Cosmic Law and Cosmic will.

So, continue to put in your efforts sincerely and happily.

"Silence isn't empty, it’s full of answers.” Take your time. Time will solve all your problems.

Be Blissful.

Learning from "Kungfu Panda" Movie

Your story may not have such a happy beginning...

But that doesn't make what you are...
It is the rest of the story what you choose to be..
What ultimately matters is what you choose to be...
From the movie Kungfu Panda. A must see movie for those who want inner peace.
There is no secret ingredient for success.
It's simple. Believe in yourself and be sincere and committed.

Human - Desires = God

Attachment is a bond which binds.

Attachment, desire, leads to anger and anger leads to frustration and frustration leads to depression and is the cause for Samsara problem and Punarabi jananam and Punarabi maranam, cycle of births and deaths. It is a continuous process.

To get Freedom from Samsara, one has to start doing Self enquiry and do Self discovery and get Gnanam or Liberation from Samsara problem.

When you get Self knowledge you become Self dependent or independent. You know the Art of living your life alone. This is called Aloneness and a Gnani enjoys this.

Samsara causes you loneliness, since you are attached with binding desires.

There is no special secret for success. It is to believe in yourself and do your Dharma. Dharma can be defined as what it is, without which it is not what it is. The Dharma of Sugar is sweetness, without which the Sugar is not what it is.
Say with conviction Satyam Gnanam Anantham Brahma.
Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithyam.
Jivo Brahmaiva na paraga.
Finally say I am satchitananda and I am Poornaga.
Be blissful.

When students misuse their talents and skills they become weak and go astray. Misuse of Sense

How does this misuse take place?

The eyes are misused by looking at undesirable objects.
The tongue is misused by indulging in evil talks. The ears, the heart and the hands are all used in different ways.

Misuse occurs when a divinely endowed capacity or talent is used for wrongful purposes. It is misdirection of energy.

No one should misuse any of the powers with which he is endowed. It amounts to an affront the Divine , which is the source of all powers.

Everyone thinks it is his sense organs--eyes, ears that enable him to experience and comprehend the world. How true is this?

In the dream state none of the senses is functioning. And yet, one has the experience of seeing, talking, hearing, walking and doing other actions.

What is the eye that sees in dream?
What is the tongue that talks?
There are three avastha for all of us. Jagratha avastha (waking state of consciousness), Swapna avatha(dream state of consciousness) and Susupna avastha (Deep sleep state of consciousness). The fourth is Turiya state where you transcend all.

In the dream state, the mind does all the functions of the sense organs, which are dormant at that time.

When you feel in a dream, that you are walking through a forest, it is not with legs that you are walking. It is the mind which does the walking. It is the mind that assumes all the people functions of the senses. The entire world is a projection of the mind.

What you see in this world is what you project from your mind.

You have to first prepare your mind.( For learning good things, seeing good things and acting good). The mind should be ready for you to do things of higher nature.

When the mind is properly directed, all the senses will be under control.
When you water roots of a tree, all the branches and leaves will get the benefit."
Be blissful.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE.

Very simple. Follow the following points:

1.) Your willingness to learn is most important.

2.) Follow Standard Operating Procedures. Have faith in what you do.

3.) Work hard and strive your best. Put in your best effort.

4.) Seek help and clarifications when required.

5.) Be sincere in your work and you will get help from somewhere.

I quote an interesting experience my senior colleague from ACTech, Chemical Engineering had, when he started a Nitric Acid plant in the year 1972.

--------------------------------------

It is an interesting debate.

His 2 bits of experience.

Back in1972, I designed and executed a nitric acid and sodium nitrate plant. 20 tpd 53% acid and 8 tpd sodium nitrate plant Hno3 plant fully automatic .Operator at panel board just to watch action as needed.

Only one experienced BSc in nitric acid could be got. I made him my Production Manager. He had no experience with automation.

I recruited raw Diploma holders in Chemical Engineering.

I trained them in manufacturing process basic PID controller theory start-up and shut down procedures.

I taught them safety in handling bulk ammonia and acid. The ammonia stream has 9 auto safety shut downs. Sodium nitrate neutralization with soda continuous evaporator and crystallization. batch centrifuging and continuous drying. I got only one Chemical Engineer for process improvement etc.

The Nitric Acid plant was running smoothly and successfully by me.

The lesson I learnt, to be successful is:

- Willingness to learn.

- Follow SOP.

- Seek help and clarification.

- Work hard.

It just took 3 to 4 weeks. after 3 months no need for detailed supervision.
