Every one of us is interested in our career progress right from our childhood through our working life. This is inherent in every human being. All of us have to clearly set our path to achieve progress.
Let us take it in our stride and think for a while. The probable things we have to do, to set our path right are given in a sequence as under:

4. Review what you have done
5. Report what you have done.
The results that you can see by strictly following the above process are wonderful and will reap rich benefits. This will make you happy and give you peace of mind.
The first and foremost thing to do in order to become successful in your professional life is listing the items that you propose to do. This is also known as things to do list.
Once you are ready with your “to do” list, the next thing is to act on the items listed by you. This means actually doing the things listed by you. The next activity is to record the things done (similar to the record of practicals done in a lab) and thereafter make a review of the same. After having made the review the last thing to do is to report what work has been done.
By doing the reporting activity you can earn rewards and awards and get recognition and honour. This will not only give you happiness but also make you charged with more energy.
You can earn the respect from your superior Viz. – acknowledgement of your work. When you earn respect from several people Viz. mass respect, it is called recognition. Recognition in turn gives you internal satisfaction and fulfillment. Recognition, satisfaction, Respect and fulfillment is intangible.
Tangible results are by way of Award and Reward. An award is given once only. Viz. Increment, promotion, certificate, performance bonus, Trophy. Income received Month after month is a reward.
How to Make TO-DO List

3. Start Your Day with Your To-Do List
4. List Tasks for that Day Only
5. Put the Important Tasks On Top
6. Have A Separate Section To Write Down Ideas and Notes
7. List the Things You Are NOT Supposed To Do As Well
8. List A Realistic Number of Tasks
9. Take Your Breaks Between Tasks (And Not Inside Them)
10. If You Miss a Task, Send it to Tomorrow’s List
In the true sense you will start to develop a passion towards the work you are doing which will be fulfilling and fruitful in your Endeavour towards the same.
